Recent contracts with Partners in Pediatrics, Greenwood Pediatrics, Pediatrics West and Aurora/Advanced Pediatrics strengthen Averde Health’s network in Denver helping patients’ access to a revolutionary payment model that finally makes high-deductible health insurance practical for families.
West Hartford, CT and Denver, CO – Averde Health, a new healthcare company that went live for employer sales in Denver last month, announced a recent expansion of their Guaranteed Payment Network with the addition of four key pediatric practices representing approximately 60 additional providers: Greenwood Pediatrics, Partners in Pediatrics, Pediatrics West and Aurora/ Advanced Pediatrics. Averde Health specializes in selling high deductible medical benefits to self-insured employers and consumers and offers a revolutionary healthcare payment model that allows patients to enjoy the benefits of lower insurance premiums while having a financial safety net.
Rapid increases in health insurance premiums and the slowing economy have caused more employees to choose the much less expensive high-deductible policies offered by employers. Though the premiums are much lower, these policies require the employees and their families to pay a larger amount out-of-pocket, often several thousand dollars a year, before their insurance will pay.
In Averde’s high deductible medical product, members pay no out of pocket deductibles and coinsurance at the doctor’s office. Averde pays participating doctors on behalf of members then collects directly from patients. Averde also offers manageable payment plans to help members pay their out of pocket medical expenses. This keeps costs affordable and the billing simple.
