Large Physician group is the latest to contract with Averde in innovative new healthcare model.
West Hartford, CT – Averde Health, an innovative new health care company for Consumer Directed Health Plans (CDHP) announced today that Sadler Clinic, a large multi-specialty group in the north Houston market is now under contract as a participating provider. Sadler Clinic, with over 100 providers and 10 locations, is the latest provider group to sign with Averde as their rapid network expansion continues across several markets in Texas and numerous other states.
Averde, specializing in high deductible, medical plans for employers, launched the first-of-its-kind payment model in Colorado, Texas and Florida and now lists over 17,000 physicians under contract in those states. Averde’s Texas markets include Austin, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, Dallas and San Antonio in addition to its Houston presence.
Averde’s innovative model for high deductible plans removes doctors and hospitals from the patient collections business, allowing them to focus on delivering high quality medical care. Averde pays participating providers both the plan and patient portion of the covered service and then collects directly from members so providers don’t have to. The efficiency that comes from eliminating costs associated with collections keeps health care more affordable for employers and members.
